We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer (f/m/d) to help us to enhance the security, scalability and flexibility of our enterprise Network environment. Our objective is to establish a highly secure network infrastructure that aligns seamlessly with the company’s scalability. To achieve this goal, we need you to join our team, to implement new technologies such as Prisma Access as well as improve our existing infrastructure with dynamic VLANS and much more.

What you will do to help drive energy transition

• Design, implement, and administer appropriate solutions for the operation of the network and security infrastructure (Aruba, Palo Alto).
• Analyze and resolve configuration and performance issues.
• Continuously improve the security infrastructure in accordance with current standards.
• Collaborate with other departments within the IT department to develop and implement solutions.

What you will need on that journey

• Minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience in high-available network environments.
• Successfully completed a degree or apprenticeship in IT
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls & Prisma is must.
• Experience with large enterprise networks
• A deep understanding of modern IT landscapes & processes and their technical implementation
• A communicative, open personality and a passion for working with people complete your profile
• Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing and proficiency in German is a plus
