Job Description

As Head of Business Development in the Monitoring & Service (M&S) division, you’ll take the lead in shaping and delivering the next phase of our commercial growth. With a sharp focus on the 6–18 month horizon, your mission is to turn great ideas into scalable, revenue-generating offerings – fast.

You’ll head up a focused, high-performing team and drive strategic initiatives across product innovation, customer solutions, and service expansion. From identifying new opportunities to ensuring smooth execution and market success, you’ll play a central role in how we grow and operate. Working closely with Sales, Global Technology, and Operations, you’ll help bring bold offerings to market – and build the structure that enables us to do it again and again.

Purpose of position

In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth over a 6–18 month horizon by ensuring a strong pipeline of impactful offerings. You will lead the execution of strategic initiatives and support the business through cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive strategy deployment within the Monitoring & Service division and ensure systematic follow-up on strategic priorities.
  2. Identify and mature new business offerings to support revenue growth, including:
    • New spare parts, kits, and product concepts
    • Integration of third-party solutions into monitoring and service offerings
    • Development of cross-KK Group offerings
    • Initiatives to enter new markets or customer segments
  3. Develop and deploy customer and application knowledge to support sales and innovation in offering development.
  4. Ensure successful implementation of new offerings by:
    • Delivering sales-support materials, training, and tools
    • Planning and executing go-to-market strategies and communication
    • Tracking and evaluating commercial performance post-launch
  5. Lead internal transformation of key processes and tools to better support the M&S business model based on KKIP products and services.
  6. Manage and develop a high-performing team, including a Business Development Specialist and a Chief Applications Expert, ensuring value creation across KK Wind Solutions.

Our Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role – preferably within wind, renewables, or industrial B2B
  • A strategic mindset with a strong commercial toolbox and deep market understanding
  • Proven ability to develop and launch new offerings from concept to market
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills across business units and regions
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with sales processes and tools, with a strong preference for candidates seeking a strategic, long-term impact beyond quarterly targets
  • Ability to draft and pitch business proposals for executive approval
