Project Controller

About the position

As a Project Controller, you will be a central sparring partner for both project managers and management. You will be a key player in improving and standardizing controlling tools for both internal and external reporting of cost.

You will be part of a strong team of 5 colleagues in Esbjerg, who handle both project who handle both project controlling and financial controlling.. Your primary tasks

In the role of Project Controller, you will:

• Review of contracts and PO from Clients and understand conditions that affect the project's economics.
• Prepare and quality assure financial reporting for both project managers and clients - from details to overall overviews and invoicing both internally and externally, including follow-up on overdue invoices
• Controlling project transactions and discrepancies including ensuring correct transactions
• Controlling of actuals, budgets, forecasts and variations
• Contribute to the improvement and standardization of controlling processes, so that we continuously optimize and create a better framework for financial management.
• Support project managers in financial issues and be the go-to person for finances in the projects.

About you

To be successful in the position, we would like you to:

• Have an economic education (cand.merc., HD, cand.oecon. or equivalent).
• Have + 5 years experience with project controlling or controlling – preferably in a project-oriented company.
• Is strong in Excel and preferably curious about Power BI.
• Works systematically and analytically with an eye for both detail and wholeness.
• An independent person who thrives on responsibility, several parallel tasks and sharp deadlines.
• Is a strong communicator who creates collaboration and contributes with a service-oriented approach.
• Solid communication skills in Danish and English at a high level - and is not afraid to use it in everyday life.
