We are looking for experienced drone pilots to join our team in inspecting wind turbines. Responsibilities

• Drone Operation: Operate drone to perform wind turbine blade inspection activities with accuracy and precision according to predefined schedules and protocols.
• Flight planning: Plan and execute flight missions, taking into account weather conditions, turbine types and specific inspection task requirements.
• Team collaboration: Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth communication and seamless integration of drone operations. Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth coordination and successful project delivery.
• Data Management: Collect and maintain accurate records of flight data, inspection activities and other relevant information. Provide timely reports and updates to the project management team as required.
• Safety Compliance: Comply with all safety regulations and instructions, both for drone operations and general workflows. Ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and responsible manner.
• Comply with regulations: Comply with all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines relating to drone operations.
• Working documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all work-related activities, including inspection logs, maintenance records, incident reports and any other required documentation.
• Maintenance and inspection: Carry out regular inspections of drones to ensure they are in optimum condition for safe operation. If necessary, make minor repairs or adjustments and report any significant problems to the appropriate authority.

Mandatory requirements for the post

• Bachelor's degree, (partial) education or technical training desirable, but not required.
• Valid drone pilot license or certification from a recognized authority is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the use of drones (UAV) or aero models.
• Possession of a category B driving license for more than 1 year for national/international travel.
• Knowledge of English at an intermediate level written and spoken.
• High willingness to travel to assigned areas both domestically and abroad.
• Knowledge of Office package for various applications required for the work.

Skills and competences required

• Affinity for aviation (no pilot on board), good technical understanding.
• Proficient in drone operation and familiar with various drone models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively solve technical problems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn, continually develop and be open to new things.
