OX2 is looking for a technical Site Manager for our client’s assets. You will have a very important role in our technical team, where we strive for long-term and efficient growth of the management of large scale wind farms.
OX2 TCM is one of the largest wind power asset managers in the Nordic region and we offer the opportunity to be part of our quickly developing business where we strive to develop and optimize our customers' assets. In this position, you will get the opportunity to develop in an environment where the business mindset and technology meet.
We believe that you have at least 3-5 years relevant work experience from having worked in wind turbines and that you are a self-going person with a high sense of ownership for what you do. You are a good communicator and will take lead on technical questions to enable a high-quality delivery to our customers by the support from knowledgeable colleagues.
This role contains travelling to our wind farms for inspections and other site visits.
Your main responsibilities
- Be responsible of the technical aspects and follow-up for the wind farms that we manage and together with our commercial managers ensure complete asset management delivery.
- Ensure efficient and proactive operation of the assets together with experienced colleagues through planning, analysis and follow-up of the technical aspects.
- Follow up services and maintenace performed by our suppliers for wind turbines, grid, and civil works.
- Solve complex technical problems and participate in technical investigations together with our analyst and other specialists.
- Plan and perform inspections of wind turbines and sites.
- Plan the annual operations in the park together with our commercial managers.
- Participate in initiatives for process development within the team.
Your qualifications and experience
- 3-5 years’ work experience from the wind power industry as technician or technical asset manager.
- Relevant technical training, especially for wind turbines, is a requirement. For this recruitment Nordex experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Physical capability for working at heights.
- Good language proficiency in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
- Knowledge and handling of IT systems and the Office package
- Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset with a high sense of ownership
- Driver’s license
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience from the wind industry
Experience within the following areas is valuable but not required
- Experience from coordination of technical issues
- Training in electrical safety and experience in electrical operations
- GWO training and service elevator training
- Bas P/U training
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure within a wind farm such as foundations, roads, hardstands is nice to have but not a must.
