Job Description

Are you meticulous, organized, and passionate about managing critical information that drives project success? We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to join our dynamic team, where your expertise will not only be valued but celebrated

At Semco Maritime, you will be joining an experienced and highly skilled team in our Transitional Energies division where you will work on a Carbon Capture Storage (CCS) project.

The position

As a Document Controller working on site, you will be involved in a range of tasks and assignments, both directly related to documentation, but also other administrative tasks that needs attention. Results are created together and based on a high level of teamwork, professionalism and dedication, which we expect you to take an active part in. Knowledge and understanding of Document Control, and experiences with Document Management Systems (DMS) is required. You also need to have an eye for the small details in our documentation and navigate in several different IT systems.

Your key responsibilities

You will be a valued addition to our project support team, servicing our site management in the execution phase of the project, reporting and collaborating with the project team in Esbjerg.

The key tasks include:

  • Manage project documentation
  • Submit project documentation to Customer's DMS
  • Participating in continuous improvement of our project documentation setup
  • Quality control of documents
  • Educating colleagues in our project document structure
  • Helping with ad-hoc administrative project tasks.

The work can include 10-30 travel days per year. Your place of work will be at our Avedøre construction site in Copenhagen.

Your profile & qualifications

We expect that you hold a degree in technical design, administration, economics or similar. Experience from a similar position is an advantage but is by no means a requirement. Furthermore, you must confidently navigate in written and verbal English.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Have a proactive, analytical, and organized approach to your assignments.
  • Are result-oriented and structured.
  • Possess strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Are service minded team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in the dynamics and processes in project working environment.
  • Have great interpersonal and communication skills.
