Are you a proactive and solutions-oriented Project Manager who can perform with demanding deadlines on national & international offshore projects? And do you want to contribute to the green transition of the offshore industry? Then you might be the person that we are looking for an exciting and challenging high-speed role at Semco Maritime.
Your position
As Project Manager in the Rig & Marine division, you will be responsible for contributing to projects and ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with the agreed budget, plan, and quality, and to the satisfaction of their customers. These projects will typically involve modification tasks on floating offshore units such as drilling rigs and special vessels.

You will be taking on an exciting role, where you have the responsibility for international projects and be involved with high-end solutions driving the green transition for drilling rigs and vessels, including such as selective catalyst reduction, energy storage systems, larger modifications scopes, energy optimization projects, and much more.
You will work as part of the Rig & Marine department with 75 colleagues working locally and globally on projects. You will be one of 4 Project Managers reporting to Director, Projects, John K. Andersen. The position is full time and is located at the headquarters Esbjerg. You should expect up to 50-60 travel days for work annually.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As Semco Maritime's new skilled Project Manager in the Rig & Marine division, you can ensure focus on tasks in a team, to reach the target of delivering a fantastic project to our clients.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Overall project management and follow-up of all main areas - economy, quality, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation
- Acting as primary interface towards the clients
- Ensuring implementation of Semco HSE instructions and standards
- Ensuring that our project deliveries are within time, quality, and cost targets
- Monthly project reviews to ensure accountability of all project activities
- Ensuring compliance with Semco Maritime's Project Execution Model during all phases of projects
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are structured and organized with great attention to details. Most importantly, we are looking for a proactive Project Manager who can make flow calculations and who is persistent in finding the best solutions and can perform with demanding deadlines.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- A relevant technical degree, e.g., Marine Engineer, Engineer, or similar
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience within maritime or the offshore segment. Alternatively, you have worked in the oil/gas industry with pipe systems
- Ability to manage both technical and financial risks
- Ability to establish trust with customers and flair for processes
- Great communication skills in English, written and spoken. Proficiency in Danish is preferred.
- Experience using MS Office, Adobe and ERP Systems
