Job Description

Our Design and Advisory Services (DAS) team brings together a talented group of engineers and technical specialists who support clients in delivering renewable energy projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

We're now looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team in Glasgow or Stirling. This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll apply your engineering expertise to complex renewable projects, provide technical advice to clients, and help shape the direction of our design and advisory services.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver high-quality engineering consultancy and technical advisory services across multiple renewable projects.
  • Provide expert input to civil and structural engineering design, including FEED studies, layouts, drainage, and earthworks assessments.
  • Lead or support project teams, managing resources and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Offer engineering advice for due diligence, design risk assessments, and construction safety in line with CDM regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver technical excellence across all project phases.
  • Contribute to business development activities by supporting proposals, scope of works, and client meetings.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help shape the continued development of our design and advisory capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline (civil or structural preferred).
  • Proven experience in engineering design, project delivery, or technical consultancy.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
  • Excellent project management skills - able to balance priorities, budgets, and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for renewable energy.
  • (Desirable) Chartered status or working towards it, plus experience within the renewables industry.
