Job Description

Skeleton is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our SuperBattery-team in Varkaus.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products. You will work closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams to optimize resource utilization and maintain high efficiency across the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule production activities based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and production capacity.
  • Develop and maintain production plans that optimize labor, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changing priorities.
  • Communicate daily and weekly production plans to relevant departments.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.
  • Maintain ERP/MRP systems with accurate scheduling and inventory data.
  • Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning and supply chain performance.
  • Ensure safe and healthy working conditions, report risks and safety deviations.
  • Plan maintenance and repairs together with maintenance and production managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related manufacturing roles.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good knowledge of Finnish and English.
