Skeleton's Advanced Engineering Department is looking for a driven and experienced Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) for the Grid products (cabinets, systems).

Your responsibility areas

Embedded software programming and testing of grid products.
Design SW platform and architecture development.
Work as a subject matter expert in customer projects.
Contribute to the company's technology and product roadmap development.
Work with research projects.
Support and mentor junior team members.
Contribute SW development process and tool development.

Requirements

Proven experience in embedded software programming (C/C++ language), configuration, and testing, preferably in grid, energy, or industrial automation systems.
Strong software architecture and platform design skills, with the ability to define scalable and maintainable solutions.
Ability to act as a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership in customer-focused projects.
Experience contributing to technology and product roadmap development, aligning engineering work with long-term business goals.
Interest and experience in participating in applied research or innovation projects.
Ability to support, guide, and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their technical capabilities.
Familiarity with software development processes, methodologies, and lifecycle tools, and readiness to contribute to process improvement.
