Are you ready to lead complex site operations and contribute to building a more sustainable future? Wärtsilä is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the mobilization, execution, and completion of projects at our customer sites. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of our solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of site execution-from mobilization to handover. You'll lead site administration, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with local laws and Wärtsilä's standards.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing site mobilization and execution plans.
  • Managing site administration, organization, and resource planning.
  • Advising on installation activities and coordinating execution schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and HSSE policies.
  • Conducting site inductions for all personnel.
  • Organizing and leading site meetings.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective site reporting practices.
  • Monitoring work progress and collecting accurate reports.
  • Promoting cost-effective and efficient construction practices.
  • Managing site budgets and controlling costs.
  • Participating in subcontracting and local procurement activities.
  • Ensuring quality control and minimizing risks throughout site execution.
  • Overseeing site demobilization and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Leading the final handover of the project to the customer.
