As Project Manager (m/w/d) Wind Farm Optimisation your target is to identify and drive new technological developments to optimize our customers' installed wind farms.

To do so, you will work in a global and cross-functional team and be the interface between customers, the various Service regions and headquarter functions such as Engineering and have a direct impact on our business success.

YOUR TASKS

  • Conceptual development and continuous improvement of our upgrades product portfolio based on new technologies, market trends and customer requirements
  • Proactively drive the development of new upgrade solutions from idea over business case and development until product release
  • Support the whole product lifecycle also during sales and implementation phase
  • Work together with our global service regions and our after sales colleagues to convince customers and their stakeholders such as grid operators or authorities and enable a successful product implementation
  • Have a measurable impact on the business performance of the global Service business unit
  • Build up a large network within the company and the industry to be up to date on new technological development
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed university studies in the field of Engineering (M.Sc. or equivalent) or a Business/Economics degree with a strong technical background
  • Several years of experience in product management, product development, project management, technical sales or an industrial service organisation, ideally in the (wind) energy industry and large international company
  • Able to build strong relationships and clearly communicate within a global organisation
  • Highly analytical with a holistic approach and strong problem solving skills
  • Self-driven, focused and pragmatic with demonstrated ability to bring topics to success in a complex environment
  • Optionally know-how in wind turbine technology (e.g. site assessment, wind turbine control, aerodynamics, SCADA, wind farm control, grid requirements, etc.)
  • Fluent in English, while Spanish and/or German would be an advantage
