About the Team
You'll be joining a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse team committed to delivering world-class energy solutions.
Our team operates across (e.g., EMEA, APAC, Americas) and partners closely with key stakeholders including (e.g., Product Development, Utilities, Engineering). You'll work on high-impact projects that shape the future of energy innovation and grid modernization.
About the Role
This position is responsible for maintenance, operational support, and issue triage of customer facing and internal data networks, network security, WAN connectivity.
In this role, the Network Engineer or Network Administrator will:
- Maintain firewalls to ensure proper security controls are in place
- Daily operational support networks to ensure service is delivered to internal, hosted, and managed service customers
- Work with providers / telcos for escalation of issues.
- Utilize and support network tools to monitor and troubleshoot environment
Key Performance Indicators
- SLA performance on OT environments.
- Customer satisfaction for the respective area of responsibility (network).
- Development and maintenance activities delivered in time with quality key.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Work in tandem with our operation teams and cloud teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud solutions for the company
- Provide in-depth knowledge and experience on infrastructure network platforms and services
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure development and maintenance
- Responsible for ensuring efficient operations of Cloud OT infrastructure that meets all committed SLAs (Service Level Agreements), focusing on network and firewalls management
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
- Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional production networks.
- Mentoring junior Network Engineering staff.
- Manage escalated network support issues
- Participate in on call rotation for Network support
Must-Have Knowledge & Tools
These are critical and non-negotiable skills required for the role:
- Min 10 years' work experience as Network engineer
- Min 3 years work experience on design, deployment, monitoring and implementation of networks in Cloud environments (Google Cloud strongly preferred)
- Experience on working in customer interface for B2B business is an advantage
- Should have working knowldge of Terraforms , this is must to have.
- Experience on utility IT systems is an advantage
- The advantage is to have demonstrated ability of working in cross functional and international teams in distributed environment.
- Ability to adapt to different working styles as per required in multicultural environment
Good-to-Have Knowledge
These are preferred and will give candidates a significant advantage:
- Load Balancer design, deployment, administration and support (F5 LTM & GTM)
- GCP Firewall administration & support (Palo Alto)
- LAN/WAN network design, deployment, administration and support - switching and dynamic routing -BGP/EIGRP (Cisco routers/switches/firewalls)
- Linux (CentOS, RHEL, Debian), Windows Server 2019+ administration
- Microservices-based applications deployment
- ITIL Foundation
