About the Role

The Field Service Supervisor will be an integral part of the service team with the main responsibility to lead the Senior Service and Service Technicians, enabling the team to commission and complete preventative and corrective maintenance of CSI Energy Storage's Solbank Storage Power Block (SPB). The individual will also be responsible for completing obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA's) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate must be able to travel and complete tasks at various project sites throughout the US region. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and achieve availability and capacity guarantees
Commission CSI Energy Storage's SolBank Storage Power Block
Support the Senior Service and Service Technicians during daily/weekly tasks
Perform proper LOTO and switching procedures as required
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
Fulfill obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA's, which may include: Energy Storage Cabinets, Power Conversion Stations, Ring Main Units, Transformers and SCADA
Support client training during commissioning
Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
Minimum 2 years in a Team Leader/Supervisor role
Qualified Electrical Technician
Previous training and knowledge of inverters
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written and visual)
Construction Skills Certification Scheme is an asset
Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset
Ability to work flexible hour (evenings, weekends) as required
Valid Driver's license, valid insurance
Ability to travel as required and be on site during construction period
Competency with MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
