Job Description
Summary
The Production Planner - BESS is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the manufacturing or production process to ensure timely delivery of BESS products while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. In this role you will act as a bridge between production, procurement, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules:
- Create and update production schedules based on customer demands, resource availability, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure schedules are communicated effectively and executed efficiently.
- Analyze and address any potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels:
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
- Regularly review inventory levels, identify any discrepancies or shortages, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
