We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, UK or Leer, Germany. For UK based candidates, LTD Company contractors will be considered.

What will you be doing?

  • Produce technical documents, including designs, calculations, reports, and specifications of MV/HV cables and accessories.
  • Produce engineering documents for test and termination of Medium/High Voltage, and Fibre Optic cables.
  • Ensure all safety and legal requirements are met.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and third parties.
  • Support the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager in delivering positive project outcomes.
  • Provide technical support to local tendering teams.
  • Participate in risk assessments and ensure designs meet industry standards.
  • Be prepared to travel for occasional site visits.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Experience with Medium/High Voltage cables (relating to Cable Design, HV testing and terminations)
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and handle changes efficiently.
