You Will

Take ownership of planning projects within Transmission, producing and maintaining detailed programmes across the full project lifecycle
Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, site management, and commercial teams to report progress effectively.
Conduct delay analysis and evaluate the time impact of change events, ensuring full compliance with NEC3 contractual requirements.
Deliver insightful reporting and feedback to project and business senior management teams.
Analyse large-scale contractor programmes to ensure integrity and compliance with NEC3 standards.

You Have

Proven experience as a Planning Engineer using Primavera P6 on large scale construction or infrastructure projects.
A strong understanding of NEC3 contract planning requirements, including assessing delay impacts, change events and contractor claims.
Expertise in reviewing complex programmes and ensuring quality.
Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive, can-do attitude and solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite.

This role involves travel between SSE offices and project sites, with occasional overnight stays-so a valid driving licence is essential.
