Job Description
Your Tasks
Technical and Quality Support
- The Outbound field support staff working in the different locations where blades are handled.
- The pool of surveyors verifying vessel loading and unloading
- External contractors participating in the transportation chain, from factory to installation site.
- All Nordex internal staff needing technical or quality support regarding transportation.
- Performance management for transportation, measuring manufacturing, road transport companies, ports of origin and destination, tools and components. Dashboards and KPI creation and analysis.
- Identification of repetitive problems and continues improvement action.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Logistics Operations: Support on Quality topics with the operational activities during pre-run, main-run, and final-run phases.
- Logistics Engineering: Any issue related to current or in development transport requirements established by Logistics Engineering department.
- Logistics Strategy: Identify improvements or changes to be presented in Logistics Committee, contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Installation Quality Assurance: supporting on transportation technical topics and support on root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed.
- Advanced Quality Engineering: Collaborate on quality processes such as p-FMEA and d-FMEA, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies.
- SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance): Alignment of transport-related issues linked to supplier manufacturing processes.
- BQA (Blade Quality Assurance): Alignment with blade manufacturing aspects impacting transport quality and integrity.
Your Profile
- Minimum 4-6 years in technical positions or quality assurance or logistics roles within industrial, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors.
- Hands-on involvement in FMEA processes (p-FMEA and d-FMEA).
- Background in non-conformity management, including incident reporting and root cause analysis.
- Practical knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with digital quality tools (ServiceNow, Upvise, Team Center ERP systems).
- Ability to manage KPIs and performance monitoring for logistics quality activities.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, Upvise, MS Office Suite, Team Center; familiarity with ERP systems and digital quality platforms.
- Ability to conduct problem solving activities, technical analysis and investigations, root cause analysis, 8Ds, interpret KPIs, and propose corrective actions.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining Nordex quality standards.
