Job Description
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking highly motivated Engineering Interns to engage in a summer internship assignment across several Plug Power locations. These interns will be responsible for assisting various Engineering disciplines in a wide variety of engineering initiatives and projects. As an Intern, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power's products. All roles will focus on the successful completion of a technical project or process improvement, and documentation and presentation of results at the end of the internship.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of all Plug Power products
- Work with senior level engineers and management to interpret and analyze data
- Assist in developing engineering processes with guidance from senior level engineers and management
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to sufficiently make minor repairs as necessary
- Ability to independently set up experiments and monitor progress
- Understand engineering concepts and how to appropriately apply them in day to day projects
- Ability to critically analyze data in terms of system performance and reliability
- Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Education and Qualification
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or a related program
- Prior Internship experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background/experience with statistical analysis
- Possess solid hands on approach to problem-solving
- Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills
- Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
