As a Design Manager Offshore Wind, you will play a key role in developing and managing state-of-the-art designs for our offshore wind cable and/or foundation projects.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to create optimal solutions that support both the project life cycle and our ambition to drive the energy transition forward. You can work from our office in Breda or our headquarters, and be part of a team of pioneers who turn ideas into reality and push the boundaries of what's possible in offshore engineering.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design process, ensuring optimal solutions that reflect stakeholder requirements and client success criteria throughout the full project life cycle.
- Interface with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and specialists to solve complex challenges related to design, fabrication, installation, and operation of offshore wind farms.
- Provide engineering expertise and advice to support the successful execution of offshore wind projects and tenders.
- Support the commercial tendering process by reviewing tender documents and representing DEME during technical discussions with clients.
- Assist in the selection and contracting process of third parties.
- Initiate and maintain design management tools throughout various project phases (design schedule, opportunity and risk register, design decision register, and design management plan).
- Lead and/or support innovative internal R&D studies to continuously improve our methods and designs.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
- You bring at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably linked to offshore wind projects.
- You are a team player who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- You have a proactive mindset and the ambition to push boundaries and deliver excellence.
- You are fluent in verbal and written English.
