Job Description

The Director of Customer Portfolio Delivery is accountable for delivering exceptional customer outcomes and sustainable commercial value across Lumea's portfolio of major projects.

This senior leadership role provides strategic oversight of project delivery, governance, and commercial integrity while working in close partnership with Lumea's delivery partners. Acting as the senior customer advocate, the Director ensures customer satisfaction, manages risk, resolves complex issues, and safeguards Lumea's commercial entitlements throughout the delivery lifecycle.

The Director works in close partnership with the Director of Project Commercials to ensure alignment between commercial strategy, delivery outcomes, and customer commitments.

The role influences bid development and operations, ensuring customer insights and commercial rigour are embedded from inception through delivery and into operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor project owners and senior delivery leaders across a complex, matrixed organisation.
  • Own customer relationships during delivery, acting as the primary escalation point for issues and disputes.
  • Oversee portfolio delivery performance, ensuring projects meet agreed time, cost, quality, and financial (IRR) targets.
  • Drive strong governance, risk management, and assurance frameworks across the portfolio.
