The Taranto site is where we have out most proven technologies and will be introducing our most complex new products in the future. As such our team here is working diligently towards ensuring our customers are receiving safe and quality proven products on-time. Our footprint in Taranto has served Vestas for pver 25 years and will continue to do so going forward. The training department is a part of our operations in Taranto and ensures optimal training levels of both onboarded as well as senior personnel in accordance to our procedural and productive needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuity of the Site Training Framework in alignment with Global Vestas Standards, LMS, and qualification systems
  • Translate project requirements, audit findings, and compliance needs into training matrices, certification plans, and qualification pathways
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): traceability, reporting, certifications, expirations, and audit readiness
  • Define and monitor Training KPIs (people competences, coverage, certification rate, training effectiveness, audit findings, re-training) to support data-driven decisions
  • Design and deliver onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, and train-the-trainer programs
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, HSE, and HR to support new products, process changes, and internal & customer audits
  • Support change management initiatives, behavioral development, and Vestas culture deployment

Qualifications

  • Degree in humanities, psychology, training sciences, education sciences, business organization, or related fields
  • Solid experience in Training / Learning & Development within structured industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing LMS, training matrices, certification systems, and audits
  • Fluent in English and Italian

  • Ability to operate according to global standards and translate them into site-level operational solutions
