Job Description
The department is mainly tasked to deliver valuable insights to the business through scalable, reliable, and consistent financial control to support performance and decision-making across the value chain. We are also in charge of ensuring accurate and timely periodic reporting, which includes ensuring compliance with the Company's financial guidelines, balancing with managing business performance, and engaging with relevant business stakeholders - both finance and non-finance operations. We also act as business partners for regional, business unit/segment, or group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed upon.
The group is consist of various teams supporting Vestas' value chain which includes financial BPM controllers in the region and in SSC - from Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Project Execution (CPX previously construction), Service, Development, Research & Development, transport, tools, group/headquarters finance (Transfer pricing, Group reporting, Real estate & Facility Management, Digital Solutions, and Financial Planning & Analysis, and Product costing & analytics.

Responsibilities
- Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the factory report and a high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions
- Ensure that there is remarkable accuracy and stability in our forecast, where all changes and deviations are explained by the underlying business drivers
- A value-adding Business Partner to the COO Area, and ensure a fact-based, root cause-driven performance reporting
- Perform adhoc reports based on business needs
- Execute the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines, and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place
- Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)
- Perform Controls and Compliance activities
- Identify, suggest, and implement improvements on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects
- Diligently engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary
Qualifications
- A graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting, or any Finance or Business-related courses
- Certifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.) are beneficial
- 5-7 years of experience in a general accounting background, especially in the controlling and reporting function role, or from a relevant role
- Exposure to BPO / Shared service environment
- Experience in working with multi-cultural stakeholders
- With knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
- Proficient in analytical and presentation skills
- Business Partnering experience
Competencies
- High-level experience in (1) Controlling Actual Financials, (2) Forecasting or Budgeting
- With high-level and specific knowledge on Accounting concepts and solid analytical skills relevant in financial analysis
- Ability to develop financial projections and build financial models
- Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
- Demonstrates initiative and a motivated perspective; adept at handling complexity and demanding circumstances
- Knowledge in using the ERP System. Experience in SAP and SAP-BI is required
- An advanced-level MS Office user. Macros is beneficial
- Skilled in presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering, including communicating numbers and data to non-financial people
