Coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities to ensure that the equipment, machinery and instruments functions reliably and safely at the plant. Ensure that the facilities, buildings and plant are in good working order.

Why do we need this position

Based on Agreement for The Integrated Operation and Maintenance Services Bangkanai stage 2 Power Plants Between PLN No. 0106-1.PJ/DAN.02.01/DIR/2017 Article 2: Operators Responsibilities, point 2.3 that The contractors shall, for the purposes of the works, be obliged to provide or procure the works, services, supplies and other activities necessary to operate and maintain the Facility(s) as more fully set out in Book IIF Part 4 (O&M Scope of Works).

Your main responsibilities are

  • Coordinate and report daily electrical maintenance activities at the plant and/or assigned team.
  • Coordinate activities of electrical maintenance all equipment such as automation and PLC control systems, LV/MV electrical control systems, engine control systems, generator control systems of Wartsila 20V34.
  • Coordinate activities of electrical maintenance all auxiliary equipment such as lube oil separator Alfa Laval, Exhaust gas boiler, Auxiliary boiler, water treatment unit, oily water treatment, fuel oil separator Alfa Laval, firefighting system, lube oil system, fuel oil system, cooling water system, telecommunication system and information and communication technology.
  • Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract in own responsibility area.
  • Train maintenance procedures and standards for the new workers.
  • Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools and ensure those are maintained according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures as well as assigned maintenance plan.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards and report all maintenance activities via MAXIMO and Field service mobility.
  • Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex problems with machinery or equipment problems.
  • Develop the maintenance working routines at the plant.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks so that assigned team resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have

  • Have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Have minimum 3 years' experience in Power Plant.
  • Willing to be stationed in Bang kanai, Central of Kalimantan.
  • Detail oriented, able to work as a team or individual and able to work with deadline.
  • High capability to understand electrical drawing and termination list.
  • Have knowledge of power plant systems, auxiliary and grid code.
