We are excited to announce a unique opportunity to join a dynamic Joint-Venture between two renowned industry leaders in the fields of industrial and urban development. As we embark on this ambitious journey, we are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to be based at our Joint-Venture business in Batam, Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day Finance and Accounting functions and statutory reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate corporate financial closing, as per Company's finance & accounting policies and timelines
- Involve in budgeting/forecasting cycles and actively monitor cash flow management
- Manage financial models to support business analysis and operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with statutory/internal audits and internal systems of control, in accordance with Indonesia statutory requirements and Company's finance & accounting policies
- Coordinate closely with Shareholders' Finance teams and undertake ad-hoc duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent qualifications; CPA/CA/ACCA certification will be an advantage
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant working experience, with prior work experience in accounting
- Possess strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and able to translate data into strategy
- Ability to exercise strong influence and control to ensure compliance whilst maintaining trust and partnership with key personnel
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
