We are looking for a Delivery Coordinator who will coordinate and ensure timely outbound shipment of our spare part deliveries.

The preferred location for this position is Kampen, NL, but Vaasa, Finland could be negotiable.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Coordinator, your work will include coordinating and ensuring timely outbound shipment of our spare part deliveries. You will be in direct contact with our forwarder base to find the best logistical solutions to ensure the timely arrival of our customers' spare parts orders. You are responsible for creating export and transport documents, as well as financial documents such as invoices, Certificate of Origin, and other documentation. All of this will be done keeping in mind both customer requirements and country import and export regulations.

You support the outbound processes by assisting drivers and checking end-of-day cargo manifests in SAP and the Transport Management System. During and after the above-described responsibilities, you contact your stakeholders regarding freight cost estimations, shipping information, delivery status, and requested documents. You will be working as part of an energetic team with diverse expertise.

Our delivery coordinators are requested to be on on-call duty a few weekends per year to serve our customers with the most urgent spare part deliveries.

Requirements

  • Commercial education (BSc in Business Administration, Logistics, International Business or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, logistics and transportation
  • Previous experience in using SAP and Transport Management Systems
  • Proven experience in delivery and export documentation roles
  • Logistical background and broad experience in similar tasks
  • Previous experience in handling logistics for Hazardous materials
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a dynamic and international work environment
  • Excellent communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work; open & willing to adapt to change (tasks are rotated within the team)
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
