We are seeking an organized and meticulous individual to join us as a Document Controller.
The Job
Reporting to the Manager, you will be part of the project support & documentation team and providing the project teams with documentation control and administrative support. You will also be responsible for maintenance, housekeeping and updating of our internal document server.
Tasks include
- Creating a document filing structure for each individual project once the project has been confirmed.
- Work closely with the team in HQ on documentation processes and program updates.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that document requirements are met.
- Assist Project Managers and Engineers to verify document identification points (e.g., document numbers, revision numbers, page numbers, etc.).
- Identify errors in document identification points and correct these errors when necessary.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing documents to ensure they meet required standards.
- Upload/Download documents from the folders as and when required.
- Monitor document submission deadlines and coordinate the process with Project Managers.
- Responsible for document submission to clients.
- Generate and distribute document control reports to the project team, such as status updates.
Professional qualifications
- Minimum 'A' levels holder
- Experience in working with databases would be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (AutoCAD not mandatory but good to have)

- Organized and meticulous individual who is able to work independently
- Detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with structure and processes
- Strong communication skills (written & spoken)
- A good team Player and able to communicate well in English (both written & spoken)
