The DGU Global DGU Data & AI Strat, Gov & Tech CoE is looking to recruit an AI and GenAI Engineer.

What you will do

  • Support the development of GenAI- and LLM-based solutions, applying techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and integrating generative models into enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate in the technical design and implementation of AI/GenAI components, both on the frontend and backend, under the guidance of senior architects.
  • Participate in the integration of AI models with APIs, cloud services, and vector databases.
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure (or equivalent cloud environments).
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in GenAI, LLMs, and AI frameworks, proposing improvements and new ideas.
  • Assist in technical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Data Science, Engineering, and Business).
  • Ensure quality, scalability, and security of developed applications by applying coding and architectural best practices.
  • Participate in innovation projects and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to test new GenAI approaches and tools.

What are we looking for

  • Degree, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or AI, with interest and applied knowledge in GenAI and AI architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating and using generative models (LLMs) within applications or workflows.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
  • Knowledge of AI/GenAI frameworks and libraries, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and basic understanding of distributed application architectures.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience collaborating with Data Science and Software Engineering teams.
  • Fast learner with curiosity and motivation to explore new AI/GenAI solutions focused on business value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
