Job Description
Redaptive is scaling its Efficiency & Electrification (E&E) offerings, spanning lighting, EV charging, HVAC optimization, HVAC replacement, central plants, industrial systems, advanced controls, beneficial electrification (e.g., heat pumps, process heat), and enabling infrastructure (e.g., submetering, load management, EVSE). Redaptive is looking for a Product Lead to bridge product strategy with process design and delivery at scale.
This role will define Redaptive's E&E roadmap, codify standards for scoping/design/installation/M&V/O&M, and support expansion of a credible Efficiency pipeline for Industrial & Healthcare customers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This position falls under Redaptive's hybrid work policy in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities and Duties
E&E Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain a comprehensive E&E strategy covering electrification pathways (heat pumps, heat recovery, process electrification), high-impact ECMs for electrical & mechanical systems (VFDs, advanced controls, compressed air, central plant optimization), and enabling technology (submetering, DR & supporting controls)
- Maintain and expand Redaptive's ECM catalog with performance ranges, constraints, utility incentive pathways, and carbon/energy savings factors
- Enable programmatic selling across entire real estate portfolios (rather than site-by-site projects) with standard envelopes, eligibility criteria, and playbooks by segment and climate zone
- Translate strategy into a living E&E product roadmap informed by market signals, pilots, customer feedback, and delivery learnings
- Engage with customers, GTM teams, market data, industry groups, and field teams to uncover E&E opportunities, quantify their value, and sequence them in the roadmap
Process Design & Scale Enablement
- Serve as the technical linchpin between product development and process design to ensure offerings are competitive, installable, serviceable, and ready for scale
- Partner with GTM, Engineering, Technical Solutions, Service Delivery, Operations, Finance, and Incentives teams to align technical envelopes, performance standards, and portfolio-level business cases
- Design and document repeatable workflows and processes for scoping, analysis, engineering review, incentive capture, and performance tracking
- Apply structured product risk assessment to new E&E offerings before committing to large-scale deployment
M&V and O&M Frameworks
- Codify and implement Redaptive's M&V and O&M options for E&E projects (incl. baseline methodologies, weather/occupancy normalization, savings persistence, and service levels)
- Embed E&E logic within Redaptive's digital qualification tools to automate project vetting and support selling to a full real estate portfolio
- Align performance tracking with customer needs, sustainability reporting, billing practices, and internal reporting needs
Go-to-Market Support
- Support creation of enablement collateral (playbooks, ROI/MACC visualization, energy/carbon impact narratives, case studies) that accelerate E&E conversion
- Support development of a robust Industrial & Healthcare pipeline, improving conversion rates and cycle times with clear acceptance criteria and "no-go" thresholds
- Inform pricing models with tariff analysis, demand charges, and incentive/tax credit stacking
Required Abilities and Skills
- Deep domain expertise across E&E: lighting, HVAC/central plants, heat pumps/heat recovery, controls/BMS, compressed air, process loads, thermal storage, and demand flexibility
- Proven product-leadership experience delivering and scaling energy-efficiency and electrification offerings (from pilot to programmatic deployment)
- Strong process-design mindset that translates technical standards and guidelines into repeatable workflows and tools; comfort instrumenting quality gates and KPIs
- Analytical and financial-modeling skills to support portfolio-level business-case development
- Cross-functional leadership and excellent communication skills
- Data-driven, entrepreneurial, and energized by rapid iteration
Education and Experience
- 6-10 years in product management, energy-efficiency/electrification program design, or related technical product roles
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems Engineering, or similar required; MBA or advanced energy-related degree preferred
- Professional certifications preferred: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) from AEE, demonstrating advanced technical expertise in energy management, auditing, and commissioning; PE licensure valued but not required
- Working knowledge of measurement and verification protocols and their application to commercial buildings and corporate sustainability reporting frameworks
