As a reliable partner for project implementers and developers, we realize challenging linear projects, energy and infrastructure projects across Europe - whether onshore, offshore or the modernization of existing grids.

We believe that genuine collaboration, personal development and room for new ideas are just as important as technology. Our specialists take a holistic approach to projects, think in terms of solutions and accompany complex projects from the initial concept to commissioning with passion, responsibility and an eye for detail.

Your Tasks

We are seeking an experienced RAMS Engineer to support the development, design, verification, and delivery of a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Converter Station project.

In this role, you will ensure that all reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) requirements are fully integrated into the engineering lifecycle of the HVDC system, including converter stations. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform RAM analyses for HVDC converter stations and their subsystems
  • Execute FTA, FMEA/FMECA for converter valves, transformers, cooling systems, auxiliary services, control & protection, and switching equipment
  • Conduct failure rate estimation, calculations, and determine critical failure modes impacting system availability
  • Perform safety hazard identification, risk assessments, and contribute to Safety Integrity Level
  • Ensure RAMS compliance with project standards
  • Assist in defining maintenance concepts and spare strategies
  • Engage with clients, TSOs, OEMs, and certification bodies
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure RAMS inputs are captured in technical specifications and procurement processes

Requirements & Your Expertise

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power Systems, Systems Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or similar)
  • RAMS experience in transmission systems, HVDC, HV equipment, grid infrastructure, offshore wind, rail, or energy projects
  • Strong knowledge of RAMS methods: FTA, FMEA/FMECA, RBD, RCM, reliability modelling
  • Experience in HVDC control & protection, grid compliance, or transmission operations
  • RAMS experience in offshore HVDC platforms or converter stations
  • Very good written and spoken English skills and German is a plus
  • Successful candidate must have eligibility to work in the EU, along with the outlined qualifications

Our Range

  • A permanent employment contract or freelance work
  • Flexible working hours including predominantly home office arrangements
  • Individual offers for further training and development
  • Company pension scheme with employer contribution
