How you'll make an impact

  • You will do night shift duty is required a part of the role, execute HSE trainings, audits, and performance improvement programs across Local Business Units.
  • You will ensure timely reporting of HSE incidents and support investigations, and implementation of lessons learned.
  • You will conduct risk assessments (e.g., ABRA) and provide practical HSE guidance to site operations, analyze HSE data and prepare reports on Sustainability goals and KPI progress and monitor relevant HSE regulations and standards, ensuring proper application and compliance at site level.
  • You will coordinate internal and group audits and manage follow-up actions to close improvement items, promote safety culture and behavioral safety through on-site activities, trainings, and campaigns.
  • You will execute HSE and CSR-related projects, including documentation, scheduling, and resource management.
  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Health & Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in the HSE domain.
  • Ability to deliver results through effective prioritization, action, and follow-through, ability to deliver results through effective prioritization, action, and follow-through and strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Demonstrates responsibility, safety mindset, integrity, and transparency. Results-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and performance enhancement.
  • Working-level proficiency in spoken and written English.
