Purpose and Objective

  • Performing month end and monthly forecasting activities to agreed deadlines
  • Review and preparation of revenue, cost and cash forecasts
  • Cashflow planning and management
  • Ensuring consistent reporting and submission for all local accounting requirements, statutory accounts and tax returns (local support available)
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal requirements relating to transfer pricing, approvals and internal controls (internal support available)
  • Owner of the local specific finance processes including cost controlling and approval flows
  • Manage order entry and backlog reporting
  • Liaising closely with accounting shared service centre in Prague (GL and AP AR accountants)
  • Coordination across local finance and wider EMEA finance teams for budgeting and strategic financial planning
  • Ad hoc support to management & internal partners with cost reviews, planning, OL, budgeting & decision making (timeliness, data integrity, advisory)
  • Principle finance team contact to both local management team and Business Unit finance team
  • Principle contact for local audit team

Key Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of activities in reporting and forecasting
  • Quality Sales, Cost controlling, forecasting and internal support
  • Ownership and responsibility for agreed tasks
  • Meeting internal and external SLA or deadlines for reporting or submission of local entity documentation

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience of financial controlling
  • Proficient knowledge of CZ GAAP accounting standard
  • University degree in finance/accounting
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Practical experience with ERP software (accounting and finance), proficiency in SAP is an advantage
  • Strong communicator in an international environment, fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • High level of integrity, commitment, and responsibility
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
