Job Description
CS Power Systems is actively seeking a Product Manager to join the Americas Module System & Solutions Team. The manager will play a critical role by strategically managing elements of the existing and future US & Americas product portfolio and its life cycle and be the direct communication link with sales, customers, and headquarter personnel abroad.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic planning of tactical activities for PV modules and connector accessories by creating, maintaining, and updating product roadmaps.
- Communicate and train customers and sales teams in regards of product details and specifications, product advantages, product applications and product benchmark compared to competitors.
- Research, analyze and draft market requirements for existing and new products by communicating with customers and sales teams, by reading other information sources and transferring these requirements into product and roadmap proposals. Present proposals to internal stakeholders to gain approval.
- Follow codes and certifications as they develop; analyze their impact on the market and specific products; make recommendations to management on how to leverage these developments to CSI's benefit.
- Work with industry stakeholders to increase product compatibility and adoption.
- Coordinate, review and approve usage of products within project designs.
- Prepare content and materials for customer visits with sales managers to conduct product presentations, customer training sessions, webinars and customer events.
- Provide, coordinate and validate content for technical and marketing collateral material such as datasheets, technical brochures, reports, white papers and others.
- Work with the marketing team to launch and communicate new products and their features and measure the introduction and sales success of the existing and new products.
- Domestic & International travel - Up to 35% (Percentages will vary)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related degree - Required. Graduate degree - Desired

Minimum 7+ years' of total project or product management experience within the energy sector or within the PV industry with at least 2 years of product management experience - Required

Ability to perform project simulations in PVsyst as needed - Required

Experience partnering with sales and business development teams, and B2B sales within direct sales to commercial and industry business - Plus

Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn detailed information about the existing product portfolio and to communicate and answer technical and product related questions and topics.

Experience with financial product calculations, product cost, and product sales price definition, analysis, and recommendation.

Excellent social and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally across multiple time zones and different cultures.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 USD per hour. This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include bonus or other incentives or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
