Job Description

As Epishine's Technical Project Manager, you will lead high-impact internal initiatives that move our technology forward, from material innovation to product and process development, and other cross-functional engineering priorities. You will bring structure and pace to complex work, align stakeholders across R&D, production and commercial teams, and make sure projects translate into real, completed outcomes. If you enjoy taking ownership, driving execution, and turning technical ambition into delivered results, this could be your next step.

The mission

As Technical Project Manager at Epishine, you will make sure our internal technical projects move forward and get finished. Your focus will be to coordinate and drive broad, internal engineering and scale-up projects, such as production ramp-up, material innovations and design engineering, ensuring structure, momentum, and clear communication across R&D, production, and commercial teams.

You will turn complex technical work into clear project specifications and executable plans, align resources, and follow up relentlessly until deliverables are completed. You will coordinate stakeholders across R&D, production and operations, remove blockers, and drive follow-up with a strong sense of structure and urgency. This role is highly coordinating and delivery-oriented, built for someone who brings order, drives decisions, and makes sure we finish what we start.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who combines solid technical expertise, structured project management experience, and excellent collaboration skills. You are comfortable taking ownership of complex technical initiatives that span materials, products and production, and you thrive in cross-functional environments.

We believe that your background looks something like this:

  • Educational background in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent technical background
  • Extensive experience from various environments of leading technical projects to delivery in hardware-focused environments (physical products, materials, or manufacturing)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating R&D, production, and operations
  • Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Preferably experience of driving projects in an international environment and/or with manufacturing projects

You are structured and analytical, able to manage multiple workstreams while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You build trust across teams while setting clear expectations and holding stakeholders accountable in a constructive way. You communicate clearly, translating complex technical details into insights that stakeholders at all levels can understand.

What do we offer?

At Epishine, we offer the chance to be part of an exciting journey and the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable planet. Additionally, we offer a secure employment with pension and insurance benefits, yearly wellness allowance and a friendly company culture where collaboration, innovation and sustainability are at our core.

Application procedure

Does this role sound exciting? Then apply today and we will get back to you once we have reviewed your application. Starting date is flexible, but we aim for some time in early spring.

Good to know

We use psychometric tests, such as personality and logic assessments, as part of our recruitment process to ensure fairness and objectivity. These tests help us look beyond a CV and understand each candidate's natural strengths, problem-solving ability, and working style. By using standardized assessments, we create a more equal opportunity for all applicants, reduce bias, and make sure the role is a good match for both the candidate and the team.

If you have any queries about this recruitment, please contact our recruiter Emma Bjurling ([email protected])
