Tasks

  • Ensure that all project on-site activities comply with general Nordex QHSE regulations and specific QHSE regulations for construction sites
  • Ensure compliance with Nordex's processes
  • Manage the activities and tasks site-related during the execution readiness process
  • Manage the day-to-day on-site operations, including the initial site set-up until project completion
  • Manage the whole construction activities to meet deadline, cost, quality, safety and environmental requirements
  • Ensure the execution and compliance of the contracts with suppliers and customers
  • Manage the relationship with the customer at the site level in alignment with the Project Manager
  • Management of customer expectations, and establish, maintain and building good relations with clients as well as their representatives
  • Contract and relationship management with subcontractors, suppliers and providers delivering their scope of work on site
  • Coordinate their team on-site to deliver the scope of work
  • Monitor the daily productivity on site including the sub-contractor performance, resource levels and quality of works in progress
  • Report internally as defined in the Governance plan
  • Ensure completion of all Nordex close-out documentation at project completion
  • Undertake all relevant training and development activities as required
  • Contribute to lessons learnt and continuous improvement

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline. Other degrees will be considered proving an extensive experience in the wind industry (5 to 7 years)
  • Internal IT-systems and tools e.g.; SAP; BIC; Upvise; ServiceNow; Campus; NX Translator; Windchill; Team Center; Webinar; Quentic; CEIS; etc
  • Spanish and English (fluent written and spoken)
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Site Management or Demonstrated ability to complete large-scale projects, managing multidisciplinary teams successfully
  • Availability for long stays on site (national and international projects)
  • Leadership and become a role model. Clear and strong communication (written and oral). Critical thinking and decision-making. Teamwork abilities, ability to manage and motivate workforce at all levels and emotional intelligence for conflict resolution for the day-to-day operations and strategic approach
