In your new position as Solution Engineer, High Voltage in the Renewable Division, you will be a valuable member of the dedicated Product Line Management Team whose mission is to make Offshore Substations modular. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 30 days per year.
We are world-leading within offshore substations, and we have a strong focus on both AC and DC connections, as well as advanced floating technologies. Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Solution Engineer for High Voltage you will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the products and solutions offerings for our offshore substation product line.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Help with HV and MV product and solutions development and maintenance in line with future market requirements
- Proposal development based on the architecture framework and the client's requirements
- Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects
- Coordinate and secure strategic supply chain with Procurement, including cost-out activities
- Help develop and maintain the product roadmap with input on new technologies from the supply chain, organization, and the market
- Handover of the as-sold solutions to the project execution team
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an outgoing High Voltage Engineer with a product development mindset, preferably coming from a manufacturing organisation. You can work collaboratively with others in an international environment where you can leave your mark on it!
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Experience with the design, procurement and construction of the high voltage, medium voltage systems, such as power transformers, shunt reactors and HV & MV switchgears.
- An awareness with industrial layout design, routing, 3D modelling, structural and weight estimation of high voltage components
- Experience with interface management across systems
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Curious, outgoing and positive mindset
- "Design for X" development experience (fx. for Manufacturability, for Operation, for Service, for Reliability Availability, for Test, for Integrations)
