Job Description

What you will do

As an intern, you will contribute to ensure that the regional energy policy and regulatory framework support the energy transition, investment in networks, and the viability of EDP Group projects in Spain. This includes interpreting, anticipating, and contributing to energy regulations that affect EDP and the electricity sector.

General responsibilities:

  • Support to the department and business in analyzing regulatory regulations (changes in procedures, public consultations, decrees, etc.).
  • Process management and support in the preparation of all types of regulatory information (distribution, generation, commercial, markets, access and connection, etc.).
  • Definition of criteria and analysis of regulatory best practices.
  • Design and implementation of regulatory procedures.
  • Collaboration in regulatory inspection processes.

What are we looking for

  1. Academic Skills:

    • University degree, preferably in Engineering and with additional economic training
  2. Professional Experience:

    • Will be highly valued previous experience / knowledge in:
      • in the electricity and/or gas sector.
      • in economic regulations, regulatory information, audits, construction and development processes, and/or asset management in the energy sector.
      • in developing and implementing internal procedures for preparing information, drafting technical project specifications, work instructions, etc.
      • in economic consulting or financial auditing.
  3. Specific Knowledge:

    • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and knowledge of AI/Power BI.
    • SAP and Agile and Lean methodologies are a plus.
  4. Languages:

    • High proficiency in English is required (minimum B2 level).
    • High level of Spanish preferred.
  5. Skills:
