Your Role
As part of the Manufacturing team, reporting to the Head of Production Organization, you will play a key role in shaping how our electric propulsion systems are built, from early industrialization to scalable production.
You will develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components, working closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure robust, reliable, and certifiable operations.
Your work will directly contribute to building certification-ready manufacturing processes for energy systems that must meet the highest safety and reliability standards in aviation.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies (e.g. surface treatment, bonding, electronics integration) across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Select, specify, and commission production equipment and machines
- Define and optimize process qualification parameters to ensure stable and repeatable production
- Set up and validate machines, including tooling, fixtures, and control parameters
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Analyze process performance data to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability
- Establish and maintain process documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, process logs)
- Monitor process stability using data analysis, statistical methods, and process control tools
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to support new product introduction and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality, safety, and traceability standards
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing process development (typically 5+ years) in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries
- Comfortable working with industrial equipment, process parameters, and production environments
- Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods
- Ability to interpret and use production data to drive decisions
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and traceability requirements is a strong asset
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset
- Fluent in English (French is a plus)
- Interest in mentoring others or growing into a team lead role is a plus
