Job Description
Burn is looking for a Durability and PME Analyst who will support product quality and performance by coordinating durability testing and monitoring products in real-world conditions. The role focuses on analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous product enhancement across the lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
Durability Testing
- Coordinate ongoing durability testing under various environmental conditions and usage scenarios.
- Monitor and report on product lifecycle performance and testing progress.
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, and quality control teams to implement improvements.
- Ensure timely execution of testing procedures, including coordination with external testing facilities.
- Develop and maintain testing schedules aligned with product development timelines.
- Identify durability risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Product Monitoring & Evaluation (PME)
- Coordinate field placement of products to collect real-world performance data.
- Track all field deployments across different lifecycle stages.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective data collection.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in monitoring data.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify risks within durability and PME programs.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Address technical and operational challenges in testing and data collection.
- Collaborate with QA and product teams to resolve issues found during testing.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related physical science field.
- At least 2 years' experience in product development/testing.
- Experience with data analysis tools and reporting.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, punctual, and professional.
- Proactive with strong problem-solving ability.
