Job Description
In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Fund Solutions - platform delivery company providing complex fund management and investment services - is currently looking for an Accounting Associate, Finance to join our office in Mexico City, Mexico.
Team
As an Accounting Associate on our Finance team, you will support the LATAM Finance Team to ensure the financial information is aligned with IFRS and local compliance. This team is responsible for providing strategic financial planning and analysis.
Role
As an Accounting Associate on the Finance team you will support the growth of the project portfolio. Assist with the supervision of data entry and maintenance of general ledger accounts. Supervise the reconciliation of the local books and corporate books. While collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will need an understanding of accounting principles (IFRS). You will regularly use Microsoft Excel, and experience with an ERP software will be beneficial.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to
- Review and reconcile the weekly payments.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- You are fluent in English and Spanish.
You
We are looking for a motivated individual holding a relevant degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an audit or private equity company in an accounting role. You are coming from a role with experience with capitalization of expenses, P L, month end and year end process. Experience delivering projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
