Job Description
- Plan activities of ongoing project(s) and monitor progress against approved work plan
- Work with team to make sure project is on track
- Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data (both primary and secondary)
- Writing project proposals, RFPs, submitting EoIs
- Writing and preparing project reports, conducting literature review and other deliverables as per projects timelines
- Organizing/participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and other dissemination activities
- Writing and participating in publications (scientific papers, policy briefs, opinion pieces, etc.)
- Comfortable to travel within the state/project areas.
- Any other task as assigned other the RECAP4NDC project.
Experience

Qualification
Master-s degree in Forestry- Natural Resource Management- Biodiversity Conservation- Sustainability- Environmental Management or related fields
Skills
Basic understanding about climate change and allied concepts- forest management- NDCs- forest and environment polices- agroforestry/trees outside forests- carbon markets- forest landscape restoration- desertification- ecosystem services- biodiversity assessment- watershed management and allied areas
Microsoft Office Suite (Word- Excel- PowerPoint- etc.)- Email communication skills; Basic understanding of statistical packages- GIS/RS will be preferred
