Your Role

  • Define technical requirements for each bid and coordinate bid strategy with Bid Manager;
  • Responsibility for the technical response to Prequalification Questionnaires (PQQs), Bids and Tenders;
  • Evaluating Statements of Interest, PQQs and Tender documentation, providing guidance to the business on appropriate bidding requirements;
  • Gathering methodologies and writing consistent tender proposals in accordance with the agreed tender strategy and timeline;
  • Prepare technical solution documents for internal approval in accordance with tender management principles;
  • Minimize exposure and risks associated with bids;
  • Ensure proper order of priority;
  • Setting bid expectations and meeting agreed deadlines;
  • Continue to raise the standard and quality of bids to increase the bid winning ratio;
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal company departments such as sales, marketing, construction, finance, etc...;
  • Comply with company and local standards, procedures and protocols with specific performance accountability to KPIs;
  • Assist in the production of monthly bid report(s) for the management team;
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner, both internally and externally, and support the adoption of the company's corporate culture.

Requirements & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering;
  • 3 years of experience working as an engineer (preferably as a bidding engineer);
  • Experience working with senior management;
  • Knowledge and understanding of public (and private) sector bidding requirements;
  • Experience working on large, technically demanding supply bids worldwide;
  • Very good oral and written English and Polish language skills;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Consulting skills necessary to develop bidding solutions to meet clients' business requirements and lead complex solutions;
  • Excellent time management;
  • Ability to embrace change and drive continuous improvement;
  • Ability to develop and maintain senior level relationships with direct and indirect customers;
  • Willingness to adhere to internal processes at all times;
  • Customer focus and experience in managing expectations;
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects simultaneously, multi-tasking;
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and writing skills;
  • Enjoys problem solving;
  • Good, positive mental attitude.
