We are Smart Energy. Starting with just two blokes in a warehouse in Byron Bay, we have grown to have 20 Sales offices Nationwide, all within just seven years. We take great pride in our range of products, from solar panels to batteries to carbon-neutral energy, EV Chargers and virtual power plants, which have put us at the forefront of the industry.
Last year we were honoured with the "Best Customer Service Project" award by the Customer Service Institute of Australia. Our exceptional Smart Care service sets us apart from our competition.
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative gun to join our award winning team to support our growing customer base, within our inbound department.
Initially, this position will be casual, full-time hours based in our Byron Bay office, but it has the potential to become full-time permanent for the right candidate with endless progression opportunities.

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include
- Assisting customers in resolving technical issues through phone, email, and live chat, using simple and non-technical language
- Providing guidance to customers on how to maximize savings from solar and battery usage
- Keeping customers informed about the progress of their solar installations
- Coordinating maintenance efforts and updating customers accordingly
- Improving our knowledge base to ensure continuous enhancement
- Collaborating with our outstanding Sales team by keeping them informed about customer issues
- This position reports to the Customer Service Team Manager.
You must have
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience - could be Retail, Call Centre, or similar
- Experience using Google Workplace or MS Office (Salesforce experience an added bonus)
