What’s the role?

Our Account Manager is responsible for developing and expanding strong relationships with existing and new clients to achieve our ambitious growth targets. In this role, you’ll be the voice of the customer - providing ongoing support for client needs, ensuring contractual commitments are met and working with client and internal teams to identify and realise growth opportunities.

Core responsibilities:

  • Client mobilisation and onboarding: taking ownership from contract signature
  • In-life relationship management: establishing and executing strategic account plans with a focus on maximising value and customer satisfaction, resolving client concerns
  • Customer satisfaction: advocating internally for client needs and preferences
  • Securing client revenue: working with finance to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment from the customer
  • Account growth: identifying and developing opportunities for cross- and up-sell

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years account management experience in the renewable energy, BESS or energy trading sector
  • Experience of contract negotiation and deal expansion (up-sell/cross-sell)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach
  • Commercial acumen & financially numerate

What would set you apart:

Proven experience and track record in a sales role; selling enterprise SaaS products and managing accounts with an ARR in excess of £1m
