In order to strengthen its teams, The Corporate M&A Department of ENGIE Group is looking for a trainee :

Corporate M&A internship

Description of the proposed missions

  • Provide execution support for M&A transactions:
    • Provide competitive analysis and market intelligence
    • Support coordination with internal and external stakeholders of M&A projects
    • Preparation of internal documentations for Group ExCom and Board
    • Support financial analysis / modelling of identified projects
  • Support transversal activities of Corporate M&A department:
    • Preparation of portfolio reporting
    • Budget follow-up
    • Preparation of meeting/strategic notes for ENGIE top management

Trainee’s profil

  • You are currently studying in a top tier business or engineering school and are available for a 6 months period
  • A first experience in finance (investment banking, private equity, transaction services) would be appreciated
  • Within a team of senior M&A officers, you think and act in a team spirit manner
  • Your mind is your best tool, you know how to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • You are attracted to the energy and renewables spaces
  • Able to work in an international environment, you have excellent written and oral communications skills in English, French skills appreciated
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
