Purpose of the job

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Management Information (MI) models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Lead a team of MI Analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of MI that provides insights into the business and supports effective decision-making.
  • Maintain data integrity across relevant systems through effective reporting and implementing continuous improvements in MI processes

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve MI models and provide support to the areas within the business that use them.
  • Confidently develop new MI models/dashboards as required by business.
  • Provide a supporting analytical function to Business Development, Operations and Finance team as and when required.
  • Maintain data integrity within our systems by developing data audits and communicate to the rest of the business what is required to fix it.
  • Produce regulatory reporting in a timely manner, fulfilling all relevant data requirements
  • Ad-hoc analysis. Adhere to internal processes and risk frameworks.

Experience and skills

  • Previous experience in an analytical/MI role
  • Dashboard Development experience through Power BI Desktop or similar reporting suites
  • Able to support colleagues in the development of their technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL
  • Previous team leader experience is beneficial
  • Able to report technical issues to wide ranging audience
  • Proven ability to produce accurate work under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
  • Numerical skills
  • Verbal reasoning
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Power BI
  • Advanced SQL programming language
  • Dashboard Development
  • Organisational skills

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent)
  • GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent)
  • Degree level (or equivalent)
