We have built a strong and growing client base throughout the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, across a range of sectors from Data Centres and large scale District Heating schemes, to high rise Residential and Healthcare projects.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager - Commercial Heat Pumps.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our commercial heat pump . Your primary focus will be on generating leads, cultivating relationships, and closing sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs, providing personalised solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our heat pump products, including their features, benefits, and applications. Effectively communicate product specifications and advantages to clients to drive sales.
  • Conduct informative sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of our heat pump systems. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of each client.
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing, and terms and conditions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure sales agreements. This may involve answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on product selection.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and track all leads, opportunities, and activities using CRM software. Continuously update pipeline data and provide regular reports on sales performance to management.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on HVAC or renewable energy products.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of heat pump systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
