Responsibilities

• You will lead an s/w developer and work with Program stakeholders to design, develop and deliver cloud-based data processing frameworks, running on AWS, and integrate with various REST APIs and Cloud-based platforms, e.g. GroveStreams meter data management platform, Salesforce, Jira.
• Define and establish metrics and best practices and work closely with Engineering, Data operations, and Programs teams to manage deliverables and expectations effectively.
• Lead efforts to accurately triage data and program operation-related data issues, meeting response time goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in delivering industry-leading software products.
• 3+ years’ experience in investigating complex systems operations, providing technical resolutions, and establishing processes for production issues.
• Electric power industry domain experience with a demonstrated understanding of renewable energy, power systems, wholesale power markets, retail tariff structures, and Smart Grid technologies.
• Expert knowledge of energy system operational optimization.
• Prior work with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations.
• Experience working in an Agile engineering organization.
• Experience with Python.
• Worked with SQL and other data stores.
• Experience with the AWS Cloud Data Services
• Experience with the Google Drive Services
• Power user of JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce
• Exposure to Docker
