Automation/Electrical/SCADA Engineer

What you’ll be doing

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our customers who have adopted our solar energy solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and ensure smooth implementation and ongoing operation of our solutions. Your primary focus will be in managing implementation projects for new clients, delivering exceptional service, building strong relationships, and ensuring the success of the project.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Travel to customer sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot Skyfri SolarSCADA systems, ensuring accurate data mapping (Modbus or OPC UA).
• Coordinate and oversee the successful implementation and deployment of Skyfri SolarSCADA, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to address complex customer requirements and provide comprehensive solutions.
• Assist in the continuous development and refinement of our Skyfri SolarSCADA hardware and software, identifying opportunities for enhancement and process optimization.
• Contribute to the growth and success of Skyfri Technologies by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, or offering additional services.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles for internal and customer use.

In addition, we need you to have

• Fluency in English, our working language. Other languages are a plus.
• Have a Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Automation engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, a Certificate of Apprenticeship (fagbrev) in electricity, supplemented with additional working experience, will also be considered.
• Live in or in commuting distance to Oslo, Norway.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the solar energy, SCADA, or industrial automation industry.
• Solid understanding of data communication protocols such as Modbus or OPC UA.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Valid driving license.
