Job Description

Generate PnL together with the trading units in Alpiq AG by originating, negotiating and concluding bespoke energy transactions. Having full end-to-end deal responsibility;

• Develop the product portfolio in cooperation with the colleagues from the trading floor, legal, backoffice, compliance and other relevant internal stakeholders;
• Take over account responsibility and be first point of contact for our customers;
• Develop relationships and expand the customer and partner network;
• Keep track of relevant regulatory changes and understand their implications;
• Develop new and improve existing processes and products to address the market needs of origination business.

Your Profile - our gap in the team

• Bachelor’s or Master`s degree;
• 5+ years of experience in the North-West-European Energy market in a trading or origination position;
• Knowledge about energy trading and energy product structuring;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Established network in Germany;
• Experience in working in an environment with different stakeholders;
• Cooperative approach and international mindset;
• Fluent in German and English.
